I'm Payton, the knitter behind Not Your Grandma's Knits.

I've known how to knit for ages, but only got good (AKA learned how to knit more than a garter stitch rectangle) a few years ago.

My favorite thing about knitting is that you get to transform a piece of string into anything, just like magic. How cool is it to make a garment, accessory, blanket, or anything else *just* the way you want it?!
